Pamela Gray Willcox

Pamela Gray Willcox is a designer, illustrator, and creative with over 40 years of experience. With a BFA from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and certification in UX/UI design from CareerFoundry, she began her career as an Art Director at the University of Tampa, where she founded Graymatters Design, a freelance studio working with clients from across the U.S. After living in Colorado for 23 years, she now resides in Virginia.

Pamela was supporting schools and educators with Zen Educate in London, UK, but has now pivoted to focusing on her writing, fine art, and illustration as Graymatters Design & Publishing. As a children’s book author/illustrator, she uses a whimsical, heartfelt style that captures young imaginations and immersive visual experiences that educate and delight. Whether designing a brand, painting, mentoring students, or crafting enchanting illustrations, Pamela blends creativity with purpose.
