A. L. Bradshaw

A. L. Bradshaw writes for kids who turn cardboard boxes into end zones and backpacks into blocking sleds. Creator of the Backyard Blitz series, Bradshaw brings real locker room grit and championship swagger to every chapter — probably because somewhere out there, there's an old news article about a middle school team Bradshaw coached all the way to the title.

After coaching at the college level and now coaching high school athletes, Bradshaw funnels everything learned on the field into fast, funny, full-throttle stories that hit like a game-winning play.

With the heart of Kwame Alexander and the rhythm of Jason Reynolds, Bradshaw delivers books for readers who'd rather run routes than run errands — and characters who feel like teammates from page one.
