Bryan Williams is a fiction author and information technology leader based in suburban Detroit, where he blends professional expertise with a passion for storytelling. Drawing on decades of problem-solving experience, he brings a keen analytical eye to warm, character-driven prose. His work is underpinned by a deep curiosity about what it means to live an authentic, purposeful life, exploring how everyday choices ripple through a community. His debut short-story collection, The Measure of More, weaves seven lightly interlinked tales set in a small town, exploring the tension between ambition and presence, status and authenticity. Through characters wrestling with choices that ripple across their community, Bryan invites readers to pause, reflect, and discover where true value lies.

When he isn’t at his keyboard, Bryan can be found traveling with his wife, hosting spirited board- and card-game nights with family and friends, tending his honeybee hive, or spoiling the “furry coworker” who shares his home office.
