Miguel Cabrera Crespo

Miguel Cabrera Crespo is a Cuban-American writer, educator, radio host, founder of Alicia Idalmis In Memoriam, the private cultural project Sol y Luna, and a theatrical-dance group for artistically talented children in Cuba. Among his works are La niña que no lloró (2023), an Amazon bestseller in 2025 and recipient of the 2025 Kindle Award; Y sin embargo, Guáimaro (2024); Los cuentos del abuelo Casiné (2022); and Paisajes Sonoros (2025).El eco de mis muertes (2026) received the European Arts Award and has been translated into four languages. He is also the author of a book saga consisting of Despierta (2026), Desvelo.He is the director and writer of the award-winning short film Carmen. Miguel sponsors the Sol y Luna Fashion Show and works as a documentary producer and cultural patron of his hometown. Between 2024 and 2026, he donated more than four million Cuban pesos to social and cultural causes. In 2026, he was awarded the European Union Arts Award in the Americas category.
