David Kauders

Born in London, David Kauders was educated at Latymer Upper School, Jesus College Cambridge and Cranfield School of Management.

An early career in information technology was followed by management consultancy with one of the international firms of accountants. He then started his own business as an investment adviser.

Curiosity led him to seek out the causes of global economic pressure, resulting in his first book The Greatest Crash. Research papers for his clients reappeared in Understanding Brexit Options and other books.

He came across work on long economic cycles by the late R C Beckman, following which he investigated the growth of debt. A chance encounter with a well-known economist led in time to the realisation that debt cannot expand to infinity, and a further book, The Financial System Limit.

Living in another country, he realised that Britain’s system of political governance may be a cause of continued decline. Reinventing Democracy followed.
