Amber Rose Puchlov (b. Cutlip), is the co-founder of the global brand Pro Kettlebell, a joint venture with her husband that began in 2012. Over the years, she has become a patent-holder and built a multi-faceted career shaping the kettlebell manufacturing, fitness, and sport landscape through innovative product design, coaching, and educational content.
As a child, Amber was often in trouble for reading under the covers with a flashlight and devouring books in the car before her mom could even get them home from the bookstore. But life, kids, and a demanding business left her mostly bookless as an adult.
Cut to 2025.
After co-producing and publishing their first book on kettlebells, "The Ultimate Kettlebell Exercise Library," Amber was inspired to return to her roots as a reader, writer, and storyteller. She set out to fulfill her childhood dream of writing a children’s books, starting with "There's Not a Spot where God is Not," a poem she drafted in 2012 while on a flight from Washington to Arizona, while preparing for her wedding and imagining the children she would one day have.
Now, Amber is delighted to have come full circle and be getting in trouble for working on her children’s books under the covers in the middle of the night— but with an iphone instead of a flashlight, of course.
Amber lives in Maple Valley, WA, with her husband and three kids, and enjoys singing as a church soloist.
