Kristine Sheppard

Kristine Sheppard is a children’s book author, lifelong learner, and mom of twins who knows just how powerful a good bedtime story can be. Some of her most treasured memories are of cuddling up with her kids each night, sharing their favorite books over and over again—always with a plea for “just one more.”

Now, Kristine hopes her Tails of Charlotte series becomes part of that special ritual for other families. Her stories are inspired by her real-life dog, Charlotte—a joyful, determined Cockalier who loves learning new things and isn’t afraid to do them her own way.

When she’s not writing or cheering Charlotte on at scent class or dock diving competitions, Kristine enjoys long walks, exploring enrichment games, and helping kids and dogs grow with confidence, curiosity, and heart.
