William Davenport

William "Bill" Davenport is the founder of Anchored Market Ventures and the Florida Alliance of Farmers Markets, organizations dedicated to helping farmers market vendors, market managers, and communities grow and succeed. A retired U.S. Navy Chief, Bill began as a small coffee-roasting vendor and built his way up to managing multiple award-winning markets across Florida’s Panhandle. Under his leadership, the Panama City Farmers’ Market has been voted Best of Bay five consecutive years (2021–2025) and ranked among the nation’s top markets by the American Farmland Trust’s America’s Farmers Market Celebration - #14 in 2023 and #6 in 2025. Through his books, podcast, YouTube channel, and newsletter, Bill shares practical, real-world strategies that empower vendors and market leaders to turn passion into profit while strengthening local communities.
