Scott Tompkins is a GIS professional turned author, known for founding the Bigfoot Mapping Project, a global crowdsourcing platform that compiles and analyzes Sasquatch sighting data through geospatial tagging and user submissions. With over 18 years of experience in geographic information systems, Scott brings scientific rigor and curiosity to Bigfoot research

In 2024, he released his debut children’s book, Marmalade’s First Adventure, a rhyming tale featuring a young sasquatch on a rite-of-passage journey through the wilderness. The story encourages bravery, curiosity, and independence, beautifully illustrated by Jonathan Dodd. His work has gained recognition from media such as The Wall Street Journal, the documentary A Flash of Beauty: Bigfoot Revealed on Amazon Prime, and various podcasts including Sasquatch Tracks.
