Marcus Johnson

Marcus Johnson was born and raised in Flint, Michigan, the fourth child of a devoted single mother whose unwavering faith and tireless work ethic shaped his early life. Raised in the church and inspired by his mother’s quiet strength, Marcus learned the power of prayer, perseverance, and purpose from a young age.

His professional journey began humbly as a hospital housekeeper and grew through roles in patient transport and registration before he became a Registered Respiratory Therapist his current role in the healthcare field he has served for over 15 years. A proud graduate of Flint Northern High School (Class of 2000), Marcus went on to earn his Associate degree in Science and General Studies from Mott Community College, specializing in Respiratory Therapy.

In 2013, Marcus was ordained as a Youth Minister, furthering his commitment to faith and service. He was also elected President of his Respiratory Therapy Program, a testament to his leadership and dedication. In 2025, Marcus added "published author" to his list of achievements, continuing to share his story and inspire others through his work and words.
