Jason J. Keogh

By the time Jason was two years old he'd already travelled over 14,000km. Born in South Africa to Irish parents, Jason grew up in Ireland and developed a love for Irish folklore.

Jason avidly consumed Terry Pratchett books in his teens, and lent Good Omens to his now wife the first day he met her. Alyson and Jason have three children together.

Work in the software industry saw Jason travel all over the world, visiting many countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and North and South America.

Jason reads when he travels - George RR Martin, Joe Abercrombie, Brandon Sanderson, Patrick Rothfuss, Mark Lawrence - these and more inspired Jason to write the Slaveborn series.

Starting with Rebels of Tír, the series is a clash of cultures with elves, orcs and humans of Tír crossing over with modern day Ireland. Modern weaponry and tactics vs. ancient magics - with a dash of humour thrown in.

Jason now lives between Spain and Ireland and still travels the world.
