Fabio Testa

🎸 Fabio Testa is an Italian bass player, educator, and author. Founder of the project BassCommunity™, he is best known for Primi Bassi — a bestseller published by Dantone Edizioni and one of the most acclaimed books in Italy for beginners on the electric bass — as well as for his educational and outreach content on YouTube and social media.

🎨 Beyond music, Fabio is also a graphic designer and illustrator with over twenty years of experience teaching visual communication and design. From this dual expertise — and from being the proud father of two wonderful children (Raffaello and Michelangelo) — comes his desire to explore children’s publishing through projects that blend music, drawing, and creativity.

📚 His approach is always “from the bass up”: educational, inclusive, and designed to make learning an engaging experience — for both young musicians and curious little minds.
