Baba Lawrence is an independent researcher, spiritual educator, and community leader with over 17 years of study and teaching in ancient Kemetic wisdom, metaphysical science, and ancestral self-knowledge. A passionate advocate for spiritual empowerment and African-centered consciousness, Baba Lawrence helps seekers awaken their divine frequency and become vessels for truth, balance, and sacred action in the world.

He is the author of The Path to Your Divine Self: The Lessons of Tehuti, a transformational guide to mastering thought, energy, and behavior through the spiritual science of Ma’at. His earlier works include The Wisdom Chronicles: Reconnecting with Ancestral Knowledge (2008) and Melanin: The Basic Guide to Knowledge of Self (2014), both of which explore the intersections of African identity, spiritual laws, and modern consciousness.

Over the past two decades, Baba Lawrence has led workshops, webinars, and seminars on the teachings found in his books. He is the founder of the True Spirituality blog and platform, and he previously led community initiatives, including Streets University—a business education program for underserved youth—and Good Food, a cooperative food program that promotes health and self-reliance. His voice has been featured at institutions such as Fisk University’s Black Thought Conference, where he shared the stage with renowned scholars and elders including Dr. Francis Cress Welsing, Ra Un Nefer Amen, Dr. Llaila Afrika, and Chike Akua.
