Kenneth Bok

Kenneth Bok is Venture Building Lead at Standard Chartered Ventures, where he drives the development of SCV's digital asset ecosystem. His role includes helping ventures with their business development, partnerships, and strategy.

Kenneth is the author of Decentralizing Finance, a handbook on DeFi and digital assets for industry professionals. He was previously Head of Growth and Strategy at Zilliqa, a blockchain technology company, where he led ecosystem and business development and supported startups and finance professionals in the space.

He began his career in finance as an equities trader at Goldman Sachs. Since 2014, he has been an investor in digital assets, particularly Layer 1 blockchains such as Ethereum, Cosmos, and Tezos at the seed stage, and is an active angel investor in Web3 startups.

Kenneth is a frequent speaker at technology events, contributes to prominent industry platforms, and has been featured in media outlets including CNBC, Euromoney, Business Times, CNA938, CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, MONEY FM89.3, TODAY, Nasdaq, and SCMP. He holds an M.Eng. from Imperial College and an M.A. in Philosophy from CIIS.
