Kyle Rust is a children’s book author and the creator of the Roarwood series, a growing world of picture books, plushies, games, and jungle-fueled imagination. What started as a bedtime idea for his son has grown into a storytelling universe filled with lion cubs, monkey mayhem, and lessons parents actually want their kids to share with their children.

Each Roarwood book introduces new characters, heart, humor, and adventure for families who enjoy reading together. Through playful storytelling and memorable characters, Kyle Rust’s children’s books aim to spark imagination while teaching themes like teamwork, honesty, courage, and friendship.

Kyle writes to entertain, to connect, and to create characters that kids will want to grow up with.

He lives in southern Indiana with his wife and son — the original lion cub who inspired the Roarwood world. When he isn’t writing stories, Kyle works full-time in manufacturing while continuing to build the Roarwood universe one adventure at a time.
