George M. Grant

George M. Grant has been writing ever since he learned that putting letters together makes words, but it took him about 55 years to get published.

Since then, he has had nine short stories and one nonfiction article published in Eric Flint's 1632 and Beyond. They appeared under the name George Grant until he learned there was already a successful author using his name (the nerve!). So, he started using his middle name, which is McClellan. But, due to circumstances beyond his control, the next story appeared under the name George McClennan Grant. That got corrected, but search engines place him behind gazillions of returns about Civil War generals. So now he goes by George M. Grant. His best story yet has been published in the Raconteur Press anthology, "Artifact Origins".
