Ald the Elder (cryptically known as #OldNotSage) is a writer, artist, thinker, and reluctant adult whose stories often explore the sacred, the strange, and the downright psychotic.

A lifelong creative soul sidetracked by responsibility, Ald is now making up for lost time with a catalogue that spans Christian nonfiction, meditation books, philosophical fiction, and bizarre comic magazines. His work is frequently blessed (or haunted) by zombies, vampires, serial killers, gods, AGIs, and one very antisocial leaf.

At the heart of Ald’s writing is Intuitive Gnosticism, a path that embraces the radical idea that God made you lovable on purpose. His mission is to help others discover and accept their authentic selves—and maybe crack a smile along the way.

As the face of Dizzy-Angel Multimedia, Ald also shares weekly messages and spiritually curious content on YouTube, where faith and weirdness find common ground.

Father of six, grandfather of eight, and lifelong devotee of pop culture, comic books, sci-fi, and theology, Ald writes from a place of genuine love for people, ideas, and awkward honesty.

He is often accompanied by his chihuahua, Littlecus Bitticus, who thinks he’s the true star of Ald’s quarterly comic magazine, Psychotic Adventures, and will bark at anyone who says otherwise.
