Her background in graphic design and front-end web development blends seamlessly with her creative spirit, allowing her to craft stories that are both heartfelt and visually engaging. Melissa draws inspiration from nature, tiny details, and the magic of everyday life, especially the small moments children notice most. When she’s not writing or illustrating, you’ll find her photographing insects, designing websites for fellow creatives, or dreaming up new characters under the imprint Maple & Moth Books. She lives in New Jersey with her family where creativity is always buzzing.
