Seven Legends Family Books is a self-made imprint dedicated to nurturing heartfelt, family-friendly storytelling. As the home of the beloved Ozzy the Toy Poodle Children's Series and The Hollow Heart Novella Series for young adults, this publishing venture celebrates emotional growth, playful learning, and inclusive creativity.

**Hi! I’m Amanda Lee— When I’m not spending time with the family or crafting, I’m usually dreaming up characters and adventures. I'm a children's book author and the creative heart behind the Ozzy the Toy Poodle series. Inspired by my real-life pup Ozzy — and the joyful chaos of raising five kids. I’ve always loved books., and now I get to write stories that help children explore big feelings, everyday safety, and the magic of friendship.

Each Ozzy book is designed to be emotionally meaningful, educational, and fun. I believe kids learn best when they’re laughing, creating, and feeling seen. When children read something that makes them smile — then write or draw about it — the ideas settle in deeper. It’s like giving their thoughts a place to land. That’s why every story comes in multiple formats, so kids can explore, express, and remember what they’ve learned in playful ways.

Reading sparks imagination. Writing or coloring helps it grow roots.

Whether Ozzy is dancing in the kitchen, playing outside, or learning about self-care and safety, his adventures are crafted to help kids grow with confidence and care.

Ozzy Dances in the Kitchen was my first self-published children’s book in July 0f 2025.

Soon after, I wrote the The Princess and the Villager, and Peebles and Promises , two stand alone modern-day fairytales.

In sum, I'm just a regular millennial homeschooling mom from Webster MA, with an imagination and the dream of buying our own home one day.

**Special note: My Hollow Heart Series, is a novella for young adults ages 13+, and it is written under the name Amanda Rodriguez as this book is not for young children. Please look at the book details for more information.
