Craig Thompson

Craig Thompson is a disciple, husband, father, and pastor.

Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, he attended Presbyterian College and later completed his M.Div. and Ph.D. At the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Craig has authored several books, including Vintage Christmas: Christ in the Old Testament, and Home for the Holidays: A Family Advent Devotional. He has written curriculum for Lifeway Christian resources and articles for numerous periodicals and online outlets.

Craig is passionate about the local church and seeing believers grow in faith through biblical preaching and ordinary discipleship. He is the founder of Ordinary Christian Ministries which exists to help Christians and churches grow in godliness and missional impact through the ordinary rhythms of everyday life.,

In his spare time, he enjoys reading, hunting, fishing, and strength training. Craig writes frequently on his website and hosts a podcast called The Ordinary Christian podcast.
