Kimberly Hierholzer

Hi, I’m Kimberly — the heart behind Learning Lane TX. I’m a mom, lifelong educator, and author who has spent more than 30 years helping children learn in ways that feel joyful, meaningful, and full of imagination. I’ve worn many hats over the years — dyslexia teacher, art teacher, special education teacher, principal, and practicing educational diagnostician — and each one has deepened my belief that every child’s imagination matters.

Learning Lane is a passion project I started to bring that belief to life. Being in schools every day keeps me grounded in what students and teachers truly need. Sharing that love of learning through books is one of my greatest joys. My mission is to support families and educators with resources that are engaging, practical, and emotionally meaningful.

As a full-time educator, mom, and grandma, I understand the beautiful chaos of balancing passion with responsibility. My days are filled with students, schedules, evaluations, and family life — yet my mind never stops dreaming up new stories and creative ways to make learning feel magical. Ideas come to me faster than time allows, especially as I expand into junior high chapter books, hands-on lesson plans, and resources that support teachers across grade levels.

Even so, I remain deeply committed to publishing meaningful, engaging educational content each month. Every book I release is crafted with intention, love, and a genuine desire to make learning feel joyful for children and manageable for the adults guiding them.
