Born in 1933 in Hamilton, New Zealand, Richard Goodall has been a Christian missionary and Church-planter in Japan for over 60 years. Originally from New Zealand, he came to Japan in 1960 with his family, and after two years of intense language study moved to the northern island of Hokkaido where he started his church planting ministry on full scale with fellow missionaries and full time christian workers. Richard has written two memoirs about his life in Japan, one in Japanese and one in English (which is currently available on Amazon). Richard is blessed with 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He lives with his wife and 2 cats in Noboribetsu, Japan.
