Kissa Starr is the founder of two mission-driven brands: Buttafly Unlimited (B.U.)—an affirmation-based apparel line known for its iconic I Love My Hair and I Love My Beard designs; —and Plants and Teas, a wellness brand rooted in herbal healing, intentional living, and community care.

Originally from New York and now based in Houston, Texas, Kissa brings over a decade of experience as a wellness advocate, group facilitator, and creative entrepreneur. Her deep passion for plants, tea rituals, and holistic living inspired the creation of Plants and Teas: Sip Your Way to Wellness—a beginner-friendly guide to simple, nourishing practices that support the body, mind, and spirit.

Through both of her brands, Kissa encourages to slow down, reconnect with nature and self, and create space for rituals that nurture self-love, inner calm, growth, and whole-body wellness
