Lauri Hill

Lauri Hill was born and raised in a small town in Iowa. She believes the Midwest is a wonderful place to be from and she spends many vacations there still. Once she graduated college, she made the decision to move to Phoenix, Arizona and start her career in teaching elementary school. She has taught all grades from Kindergarten to 4th grade and has worked with 4th-8th grade as an intervention teacher. She also raised four daughters during that time who have all married and have children of their own, giving Lauri several grandchildren. Now that she is retired, Lauri enjoys vacationing with the ones who live farther away and spending as much time as she can with all of them. It was the experiences she had as a mother that sparked her passion for creating real-life children's stories, and she loves reading these and other stories to her grandchildren.
