Richard Michael Risi

Richard Risi is the author of The Fragments of Shadow & Sound: Prose and Poems, a debut collection blending music, memory, and myth with the quiet resilience found in the human heart. Legally blind and hard of hearing, Richard writes from the perspective that creativity can thrive not in spite of challenges, but through them. His work explores themes of night, longing, and transformation, drawing inspiration from his love of music, storytelling, and worldbuilding.

When not writing, Richard is a classically trained singer and actor, often finding rhythm and lyricism in both words and song. His creative vision is rooted in the idea that every shadow can carry sound, every silence can hold meaning, and every limitation can reveal its own form of strength.
