Hi there! I’m a first-time author. I never expected to be doing this, and a children’s book seems even more unlikely. I used to care for an outside cat colony with several other people. That’s where this idea came from. The 6 cats in the story are real, and several conditions meant we had to move them. I was able to get my local shelter to take them in, and all the cats were eventually adopted to nice homes! I still volunteer at this shelter, and it is always a good feeling to help animals in need. Besides that, I enjoy music, books, travel, cycling and hiking. I hope you find this book as much fun as I had writing it!
