Larry Beauchamp

After retiring from the Air Force, Dr. Beauchamp entered the pastoral ministry where he served seven churches over a 27 year span. During his Air Force career, he served as an Air Force Recruiter and a UNIVAC 1050-11 computer operator and instructor. He recently retired from the pastorate to enter into a full-time ministry in nursing homes. He was married to his wife, Nadine, for 56-years and has two children and three grandchildren.

He earned his B.A. in Religion from the University of Mobile (Mobile College), his M.A. in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. He currently has applied for admission to Liberty University to work for the M.A. in Chaplaincy. He earned his Doctor of Theology Degree from Gulf Coast Seminary in Panama City, Florida and the Doctor of Ministry Degree from the International Bible College and Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.

He currently resides in Bay Minette, Alabama. He ministers at the Crown Health Facility in Bay Minette and the Atmore Nursing Facility in Atmore, Alabama where he plays guitar to both the nursing home residents and the memory unit residents.

He is looking forward to becoming more involved in the nursing home ministry in order to bring encouragement and joy to the residents as they remember earlier times while listening to the oldies he plays. He plays an assortment of hymns and oldies rock and country music.
