Deborah Edelman

Deborah Stanger Edelman is one of the founders of California Naturalist, the UC Environmental Stewards statewide program for naturalist education. She has over 30 years of experience creating programs for natural resource conservation, watershed restoration, community engagement, and environmental education. She has worked for the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District, University of California Cooperative Extension, the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, and Olympic National Park. Deborah has an MS in Ecology from UC Davis and is a Switzer Foundation Environmental Fellow and Switzer Leadership Grant recipient.
