Casey Wood

Casey grew up in the very small town of Pulaski, New York. After graduating high school, she went on to serve eight years in the U.S. Army. When she transitioned into civilian life, she welcomed her daughter, who quickly became the center of her universe.

Every night before bed, Casey would snuggle up with her little girl and read together until her daughter was too sleepy to keep her eyes open. Those treasured bedtime moments became some of Casey’s favorite memories.

As her daughter grew, Casey began writing her own stories—not only to keep those special story-time memories alive, but to share that same sense of wonder, imagination, and adventure with young readers everywhere.

Today, Casey writes children’s books filled with adventure, friendship, discovery, and meaningful lessons, with the hope of inspiring children to fall in love with reading and reminding families just how magical story time can be.
