I’ve been telling stories my whole life — sometimes through headlines, sometimes over a glass of wine, but always with substance and soul.
After a 20-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces, I took a different battlefield: Parliament Hill. As a senior advisor to several Members of Parliament — including a term as Executive Assistant to the Leader of the Opposition — I learned how power really moves. I’ve studied it, shaped it, and watched the impact of decisions most people never hear about.
With a double major in Economics and Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a philosophical edge from my minor, I’ve always been drawn to why things happen — and what happens next.
For over 15 years, I reported as a journalist — covering everything from tech revolutions to the hidden stories behind Canada's rising wine regions. I even hosted and helped create “I Luv Wine” (Food Channel USA), a docu-style series diving into the passion and people behind the bottles in Prince Edward County.
Now, as a novelist and narrative creator, I write stories rooted in reality, layered with political tension, and fueled by human truth. Every tale starts with something real — a report, a headline, a whisper — and unfolds into a journey that takes the reader somewhere they never expected to go.
Because the best stories?
They don’t just entertain — they pull you in and don’t let go.
