Camie A Putchaven

Camie Putchaven is a children's book author, registered veterinary technician, and the owner of Critter Care on Wheels, a mobile pet service based in Northwest Indiana. She grew up in Porter and now lives in Kouts with her husband, daughter, and their rescue pets. Camie has spent over a decade caring for animals and educating pet owners, and she brings that same compassion and curiosity into her writing. Her debut children's book, Sugar Bee the Fairy, celebrates the magic of kindness and gently encourages young readers to care for the world around them. When she is not writing or caring for pets, Camie enjoys rainy days, crafting with her daughter, and dreaming up new stories that inspire.
