Avery Whitaker, CNC, CHC
Certified Nutrition Coach (NASM) & Certified Health Coach
Avery Whitaker is a NASM-Certified Nutrition Coach and Institute for Integrative Nutrition Certified Health Coach who helps people eat well—and feel well—after gallbladder removal, with fatty liver (MASLD/NAFLD), and while managing chronic kidney disease. For more than twelve years, Avery has turned evidence-based guidance into practical, flavorful recipes that are gentle on digestion, low in unnecessary sodium and fats, and realistic for busy home cooks. Her kitchen philosophy is simple: food should heal, not hurt.
An active member of the American Nutrition Association and a frequent speaker at the Evidence-Based Food Therapy Summit, Avery is known for making science approachable and actionable. Through private coaching, online courses, and community workshops, she empowers readers to reduce discomfort, cook with confidence, and enjoy mealtime again. When she isn’t testing recipes or mentoring clients, Avery volunteers as a digestive-health educator and spends weekends exploring Mediterranean-inspired dishes at home.
