D.L. Williams

I’m Artist D. Will, now author D.L. Williams—a multidisciplinary storyteller working in painting, literature, and dream exploration. I earned my degree in Art and Design in 2002, followed by an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship in 2010.

I began drawing at age six, painting by ten, and found my creative voice at the intersection of color, motion, and music. My artwork has been featured in galleries and publications nationwide, and collected by clients around the world.

Long before this book, I had been writing. Since age 13, I’ve kept journals full of dream creatures, emotional insight, and cryptic language from an old 1800s dictionary. At 17, I nearly finished a 300-page novel—until a house fire destroyed it. That loss, along with years of trauma and reflection, helped shape this book.

My debut novel blends dream symbolism, memory, and family history into a surreal journey. Book Two, ☽Book of REM: The Battle of Consciousness, is already in progress. I invite you to read slowly, reflect deeply, and decide where reality ends and fantasy begins.
