Stephanie Morris

Stephanie Morris is a native of North Carolina who believes in the quiet magic of bedtime stories and the beauty found in life's smallest wonders. Her gentle tales -like Tully the Turtle- are inspired by the stories she once told her own children which is where Tully the Turtle was born many years ago.

Stephanie is the creator of the Tully the Turtle series--heartwarming picture books that follow Tully and his pond friends as they explore their world with curiosity, courage, and kindness. Each story introduces a new character and adventure, all connected by a thread of wonder and gentle wisdom.

When she isn't writing, Stephanie enjoys time with her husband and their dogs. She lives in the southeastern U.S. where her imagination is never far from a mossy river bank, a really cool stick, a heart shaped rock. or a sleepy turtle's dreams.
