Mark Robert Goujon: Transforming Grief into Resilience.
Mark is a warrior poet, a U.S. Air Force veteran, and God-loving American. His military career included assignments in Europe, Asia, and a deployment to Iraq. Mark honored fallen heroes by building Iraq and Afghanistan memorials in Tampa, Florida. This journey of service and the sudden loss of his father, led Mark to seek a deeper understanding and calling, eventually earning a Master’s in Organizational Leadership.
This blend of academic insight and lived experience resulted in his collection, Nevermore: Death, Grief and Healing Poetry, a book of healing, remembering, and honoring for those grieving a loved one. A poetic guide through loss to mend your heart, find hope, and persevere.
Mark's mission continues through his music project, My Warrior Poet. His upcoming dual-album thesis—Forcefield (Death & Love) and Revolution (Life & Love)—mirrors his writing, exploring the conviction that in life and in death, love remains forevermore.
Mark lives in Florida with his wife, Jaime, their daughter, Nadia, and their pup, Violet Rose. Subscribe to Weekly Warrior Poems for weekly poetry reflections and music updates.
