Rene L. Lambert

My name is Rene Lambert. I was born in Jamaica and moved to the US with my family at 17. I am a young woman with spastic quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, and a passionate student pursuing psychology and journalism. I love writing, reading, listening to music, and socializing. I am an active member of the Connecticut Council on Persons with Developmental Disabilities, PATH CT, and other advocacy and charity organizations including BlessBackJamdown Missions. I am the 2025 Ryan Colburn Award recipient and an honors student at the University of Hartford. I graduated from CT State Manchester Community College in Spring 2025 with my associate degree, where I helped implement a transportation system for students with disabilities. In the future, I hope to pursue studies in theology. I am committed to staying grounded and striving for excellence.
