When I was a child, I struggled to read. My parents took me to a reading specialist and their advice was to have me try reading comics; their reason was to make reading fun for me. That began a life-long love of the genre.

At one point in my life, I took that love for comics and began a career to write my own. Within a year, my first book was published. Since then, I have created countless books. My largest success to date was the Howard Lovecraft series; a series that introduced children to the works of H.P. Lovecraft.

The series was featured in the Chicago Tribune and Rue Morgue magazine, as well as countless other places.

That led to the creation of Herbert West: Astounding Tales in Medical Malpractice. A book that introduced children to Lovecraft's character Herbert West.

My new book is a reimagining of Lovecraft"s beloved short story: The Cats of Ulthar.

Currently, I reside in Canada with my beautiful and talented wife Barbara Avon whose books you should check out yourself.
