Tonya Thompson is a proud West Virginian and Mawmaw to two of her greatest inspirations — Little Bird and Baby Bug. Their boundless curiosity, laughter, and love for life on the family homestead spark the heartwarming tales she shares with young readers everywhere.

She is the author of the charming chapter book series Little Bird and Baby Bug’s Adventures on the Homestead, where farm life, friendship, and a dash of mischief come together in stories that celebrate family and nature.

She is currently working on a Preschool Series about Baby Bugs Adventures at Preschool, with all his usual mischief and fun!

When she’s not writing, Tonya can often be found tending the garden, watching the chickens, or making memories with her grand kids that are sure to inspire her next adventure.
