Lisa Baird

After rereading the journals she kept over decades, and with the gentle encouragement of those closest to her, Lisa began the journey of becoming a writer, giving voice to a pivotal chapter of her life. As she put her experiences on the page, with the perspective that time and reflection offer, she uncovered a deeper understanding of herself and of what it means to be human. Lisa believes life is a classroom, and we, its students. “Everything we experience on our life’s journey is put on our path so we can learn lessons. We can only learn the lessons if we are open to their teaching.”

Lisa lives in New Mexico where she enjoys the beauty of the sunrise and sunset set against the vast expanse of mesas and mountains.
