Luca Asten

Luca Asten is the author of several works published on Amazon.

Her newest release, MERA MIDNIGHT ~ BLOODLINES is a mythical fantasy filled with mystery and magic, cursed bloodlines rooted in an ancient Slavic myth, an enchanted storybook, and a magical pen—all intertwined with the dangerous imagination of its protagonist.

Luca is also the author of the novel THE BOOK OF THE FAIREST and three novellas: THE GIRL WHO INVENTED THE SHOWER BUDDY, SHE CALLED ME CLICK, and THE DETOUR.

Her works carry a rich South African undertone while frequently travelling beyond borders, blending cultural fascination and psychological drama—each capturing moments of irresistible intrigue and daring imagination across worlds built not only on secrets, but on the fragile boundary between fantasy and reality.

Set for release in 2027, THE RUSSIAN AND HIS PERSONNEL, an origin story that precedes the Mera Midnight Trilogy, is a fantastically adventurous novel filled with mystery, dark folklore, and unforgettable tales.

Andreev Yarkin is not only cursed with a dark bloodline reaching far beyond the confines of the modern world, but is also tasked by the Order as a Popraviteli. Also known as the Poppies, the Popraviteli are eradicators, hunting those whose bloodlines threaten to give rise to ancient Slavic horrors.

Andreev embarks upon an assassination spree spanning two decades — the deaths unexplainable and, at times, bordering on the senseless, yet remarkably similar to the dark tales of ancient Slavic folklore.

Until, under new leadership, the Order puts a price on his head.

In The Russian and His Personnel, Andreev and his fiercely devoted household staff will keep you enthralled as they weave between fantasy and reality, where nothing is quite as it seems, as the boundaries between the two worlds transform into awe-inspiring adventures.
