I'm about to add this to Plano Grace.

The White House.

Christy in the property unit would only call when there was a problem, so I expected something wrong with a evidence report or seized money count when my phone rang. I heard, “hey, A.D., do you know about the kilo of cocaine we got turned in”- “Nope, but I'm on my way there.” I check the “kilo” out of property and me and Huntington start trying to figure out how thousands of dollars’ worth of cocaine was just “thrown” away. I read the report, and I think “this can’t be right.” A couple walking on a below street level walkway sees an object flying onto the sidewalk from the street above. As they walk up, they see a white powder splashed across the sidewalk. The square shaped package wrapped in colored cellophane was missing one corner. I started looking for any police reports or documents that might help us, and I found a speeding ticket in the area about the same time as the flying kilo. I reached out to the officer and asked him about the stop. Uneventful was the best description. He said that he was running moving radar on Parker Road when he clocked a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction and made a fast U-turn to catch up with the speeder. He wrote the ticket and released the violator. I ran the driver’s information, he was from Dallas, and we had no intel on him. I suspect the driver of the speeding car sees the patrol car turning to come after him and he chucks the kilo of cocaine out of the passenger window. Although in Texas it might be worth 20k, in Chicago it might be up to 40k. Whatever the worth, he must have thought it’s not worth going to prison. I called Dallas Narcotics and asked if they were familiar with the driver and quickly the detective on the call says, yep, he’s a dealer at a house visited by Dallas Cowboys. While it wasn't known at that time as the "White House" I now believe that was where he was describing. The White House it turns out was a rent home suspected of being used for all kids of activity by a few of the Cowboy “players.” We gave everything we had on the investigation to Dallas PD, and we never made it to the White House. I added this event after watching the Netflix’s 2025 series "America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys. Somehow, I forgot about my "White House" encounter until after I watched the series and saw Micheal Irving explaining the White House.
