Gavin Routledge

A renowned clinician and health coach, Gavin specialises in coaching golfers around the world to build a strong pain-free lower back they can have confidence in. Clinical Director at Active X Backs, in Edinburgh, Scotland. Now multiple author on lower back pain and sciatica, Gavin graduated as a Gold Medalist (awarded for Conspicuous Merit) in 1991 from the British School of Osteopathy. He was Vice Patron of the British School of Osteopathy from 2005-2015, and a Regional Director of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine 2018-20. He has an MSc in The Clinical Management of Pain from the University of Edinburgh.

He combines clinical expertise with a deep passion for golf—sparked at the age of nine while watching pro-celebrity matches at Gleneagles, where he promptly fell in love with the game.
