Noah Askin

Noah Askin is an organizational sociologist at UC-Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, where he also serves as Faculty Director of the Leadership Development Institute. An award-winning teacher and researcher, Noah is an expert in organizational dynamics, leadership, and culture, focusing on the informal networks of communication and connection that drive organizational life. His work sits at the intersection of academic research and real-world application, bridging theory and practice to help people better understand the systems they operate in and the communities they build. His work has garnered him recognition on the Thinkers 50 Radar List and been covered in outlets such as the BBC, The Economist, Rolling Stone, NPR, Vox, and Forbes. He received his BA in Psychology from Harvard, and he received an MBA as well as a joint PhD in Sociology and Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He lives with his family in Southern California.
