Peggy Thomas

Peggy Thomas loves bugs, bones, and history plaques on the side of the road. By blending science and history, she has authored dozens of award-winning books for children and teens including The Soil In Jackie's Garden which earned the 2025 AFBFA Book of the Year, and a Growing Kids Book Award from the American Horticultural Society and Junior Master Gardeners. When not writing, Peggy can be found in her garden, taking a walk with her dog Chunk, or sitting on the porch with her husband, a cup of tea and a good book to read.
