Simone Austermann

Simone Austermann writes stories that balance everyday life and escape – sometimes cozy and crime-infused in the SOMA universe, sometimes historically grounded, always with a touch of wit. When she isn’t sending her characters into virtual worlds, she teaches and researches at university. Her best balance comes from family, her dog, and a stack of new ideas that usually grow faster than they can be written down.
