Hongbin Li

Hongbin Li is the Faculty Co-director of the Stanford Center on China's Economy and Institutions; Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies; Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research; Professor, by courtesy, of Economics. He got Ph.D. from Stanford department of economics in 2001, and was C.V. Starr chair professor at the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University and Professor at the Economics Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Hongbin's research focuses on the Chinese economy, and he founded and direct the China Labor, Income and Population research program at Stanford.
