Nicholas E. Sumner is a Southern storyteller whose books celebrate faith, family, outdoor adventure, and the everyday beauty of Southern life. His debut, Down Where the Roots Run Deep, introduced young readers to farming heritage and family traditions. He followed it with Even When Memories Fade, a gentle story that helps families talk about love, hope, and the changes that come with memory loss.

His children’s catalog also includes The Itty Bitty Kitty in the Big Old City, a project created with his daughter and inspired by a child’s unique imagination about a tiny country kitten finding courage in a big unfamiliar world, and The Quiet Woods, a reflective collection of childhood hunting and fishing stories. His newest release, Where Faith Runs Deep, is a 31-day family devotional that blends farm life, Scripture, and hands-on activities.

Raised by his grandparents on a front porch swing, Nicholas now balances life as an author, Georgia agriculture professional, preacher, and devoted husband and father.
