R.S. Britton

R.S. Britton is endlessly curious and has a habit of following questions much farther than she originally intended. She loves science, philosophy, puzzles, painting, reading, drawing, video games, and conversations that wander into strange territory.

She has been asking how things work for as long as she can remember and has never seen much reason to stop. If something catches her attention, there is a good chance she will read about it, take it apart, try to make it, or spend an unreasonable amount of time figuring out why it works.

She is a grandmother, a painter, a cat lover, a collector of entirely too many books and clocks, and someone who considers “I wonder what would happen if…” a perfectly reasonable way to lose an afternoon. She believes some of the best questions are the ones nobody can answer with certainty.

Currently, she lives in Hawaiʻi, though she has called many parts of the country home and has traveled through 44 states, from New York to California and plenty of places in between. She has four children and five grandchildren, who make sure there is rarely a shortage of new things to wonder about.
