David A. Good is an airline pilot, aviation operations specialist, and storyteller whose work explores the meeting point of flight, technology, and human connection. An active Airline Transport Pilot, he brings a lifetime of firsthand experience in aviation to the page. His novels blend precision with the lyricism to create stories of legacy, love, and the wonder of looking upward.

David holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Mississippi and an Aircraft Dispatcher certificate from the Sheffield School of Aeronautics. When he isn’t writing or flying, he immerses himself in the evolving world of artificial intelligence, sustainable aviation, and the future of flight. His fiction, anchored by the Ionosphere Blue series, imagines a world where humanity’s oldest dreams take wing again, carried on both supersonic airliners and starships.

He lives with his wife, Anna, in Flower Mound,Texas, balancing the skies of his profession with the worlds of his imagination.
