Adeola Ajayi

Adeola Ajayi is the author of Footprints on Concrete: The Story of a Barefoot Dreamer Who Refused to Quit, a powerful memoir of resilience, hope, and purpose.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Adeola grew up in extreme poverty, often without food, shoes, or basic resources. Basketball became both his refuge and his lifeline, eventually earning him a scholarship to the United States. His journey from cracked courts in Sango Ota to becoming a leader in Kansas City is a testament to faith, perseverance, and the belief that no dream is too big for a determined heart.

Adeola is the founder of the Adeola Ajayi Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering youth in underserved communities. Through the foundation, he has hosted free basketball camps for hundreds of children, donated thousands of meals, shoes, and school supplies, and built Noble Court, the first modern basketball facility in Ogun State, Nigeria. He also rebuilt the same basketball court where he first learned to play, and built two water wells in Sango Ota to provide the community with free access to clean water.

In addition to his philanthropic work, Adeola serves as the Lifestyle Coordinator for Cordish Living’s luxury properties in Kansas City, where he curates high-end resident events and builds community through unforgettable experiences.

Through his writing, foundation, and leadership, Adeola continues to inspire others to rise above challenges, embrace their purpose, and invest in the future of the next generation.

“Footprints on Concrete” is more than a memoir, it’s proof that no matter where you start, you can create a legacy that changes lives.
